1) Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Lice Solution LLC’s services, website, booking system, and any products we sell or provide (collectively, the “Services”). By booking an appointment, purchasing a product, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

3) Services and Products
3.1 Professional Treatment (Day 0).
Our professional in-home treatment uses a technician-applied blend of 100% olive oil, with optional dimethicone, plus a professional comb-out. The solution remains on the hair and scalp for 10 minutes and is then rinsed and shampooed. A thorough nit comb-out is performed. This Day 0 service kills live lice only; eggs (nits) require follow-up care at home.
3.2 Retail Products (Cosmetic Category). We may sell cosmetic hair oils (e.g., Olive Oil + Dimethicone Hair Oil) as conditioning and combing aids. These cosmetics are not drugs; they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease and should not be marketed or interpreted as a lice medication.
3.3 Instructions. Detailed aftercare instructions are provided to clients for at‑home follow‑up. You agree to read and follow all instructions and warnings included with our Services and products.
4) Eligibility, Health & Client Responsibilities
4.1 Eligibility. Services are available to clients able to consent or with consent of a parent/guardian for minors. Benzyl alcohol–containing solutions are not recommended for infants under 6 months. Inform us of all allergies or sensitivities before treatment.
4.2 Client Responsibilities. You agree to follow the provided follow‑up plan (including oil saturation and combing on specified days), perform home cleaning steps, and monitor all household members to reduce re‑exposure.
4.3 No Medical Care. We are not a medical clinic and do not provide medical advice. If you have concerns about skin conditions, infections, or allergic reactions, contact your healthcare provider.
5) Appointments, Deposits, Cancellations & No‑Shows
5.1 Booking & Deposits. Appointments may require a deposit to secure your time slot. Deposits apply to your final invoice and are non‑refundable for late cancellations or no‑shows.
5.2 Cancellations/Rescheduling. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no‑shows may be charged up to the full service fee to cover lost time.
5.3 On‑Site Conditions. You agree to provide a safe, smoke‑free work area with adequate lighting and access to running water and electricity. A parent/guardian must be present for minors during treatment.
6) Pricing, Payment & Taxes
6.1 Pricing. Prices are listed at booking and/or checkout and may change without notice prior to purchase. Travel, after‑hours, and holiday surcharges may apply and will be disclosed at booking.
6.2 Payment. We accept card and other common forms of payment through our secure processor (currently Square). A deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment. Deposits are applied toward the final balance. Additional services or products added during the appointment will be billed separately and must be paid in full at the time services are completed. Full payment is due at the time services are completed, unless otherwise agreed to in writing prior to the appointment.
6.3 Taxes. Applicable sales and use taxes will be collected where required by law.
6.4 Mileage Fees.Travel within 30 miles of Thornton, CO (80233) is included in the service price. Appointments located more than 30 miles away may incur a custom travel surcharge, which will be calculated based on distance and confirmed with the client prior to the appointment.
7) Shipping, Delivery & Returns (Retail Orders)
7.1 Shipping & Delivery. If you order products for shipment, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to ship within stated time frames or, if none are stated, within 30 days. If we cannot ship on time, we will seek your consent to the delay or promptly issue a refund for any unshipped merchandise.
7.2 Returns. For hygiene and safety, opened or used personal‑care products are not returnable. Unopened, unused products in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery with proof of purchase, unless otherwise stated. We will replace or refund defective items according to our inspection. Shipping charges are non‑refundable unless the return is due to our error.
8) Product Use, Warnings & Disclaimers
8.1 Cosmetic Use Only. Retail oils are cosmetic combing/conditioning aids. Do not ingest. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or broken skin. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children.
8.2 Patch Test. Perform a small patch test before first full application. If redness or irritation develops, stop use and consult a healthcare provider.
8.3 Results. Results depend on client adherence to follow‑up, thorough combing, and avoidance of re‑exposure; therefore individual outcomes may vary, and we do not guarantee complete removal in all circumstances.
9) Regulatory Statements (Cosmetics vs. Drugs)
9.1 Intended Use. Our retail oils are intended to condition hair and aid combing. We do not label, advertise, or sell them as medications. Making drug‑type claims (e.g., “treats,” “prevents,” or “kills” disease/parasites) may subject a product to drug regulations.
9.2 Labels & Truthful Marketing. All labels and marketing must be truthful and not misleading. We follow applicable U.S. cosmetic labeling requirements, including ingredient listing and net contents.
10) Electronic Communications & Text Messaging Consent
By providing your phone number or email, you consent to receive appointment confirmations, reminders, and service‑related messages. You may revoke consent at any time in a reasonable manner, including by replying STOP to text messages, emailing us, or calling to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.
11) Website Use & Intellectual Property
Our website content, logos, photos, text, and guides are owned by Lice Solution LLC or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
12) Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT WILL LICE SOLUTION LLC, ITS OWNERS, OR TECHNICIANS BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY AMOUNT EXCEEDING THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SERVICE OR PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) $300.
13) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lice Solution LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of our products, or violation of law.
14) Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, illness, labor disputes, supply interruptions, or government actions.
15) Governing Law; Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict‑of‑laws rules. Any dispute shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, conducted in or near Adams County, Colorado. You and Lice Solution LLC waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action or class arbitration. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court.
16) Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17) Privacy
Your use of the Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share personal information. The Privacy Policy is available on our website and incorporated by reference into these Terms.
